MiniSense v3 For Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 Smartphone

This rom aims to provide the taste of beautiful looking sense user interface on a smartphone with touch-wiz UI. And, the effort to provide the full HTC interface continues even with version 3 of MiniSense rom. In this latest version, the developer has included LP Sense launcher, Agile Lock and a beautiful looking Sense like theme (which you can select in Theme Chooser) and put them together inCyanogenMod rom so as to emulate the sense like User Interface.

Now, that we've gone through the features and the changelog, it's time to try out this rom on yourgalaxy mini or pop and explorer through the rom. Below are step by step instructions for installing this rom on your galaxy mini smart phone.

Disclaimer : Do It At Your Own Risk!

Note : Those who have Gingerbread OS and any Custom Recovery installed on their device can skip Step 1 and Step 2. Also, those who have any custom rom installed can skip both Step 1 and 2.

1.Upgrade your firmware to Gingerbread using Odin Multidownloader v4.38.

2.Install any custom recovery available for Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop. You may either have Clock Work Mod Recovery or RZ Recovery - any is fine.

3. Download Minisense version 3 rom (minisense_v3.zip).

4. Copy all the downloaded files to the (root directory of) your sd-card.

5. Reboot your device to Custom Recovery (Press Home + Power Button).

6. [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current rom.

7. Now flash this minisense version 3 rom zip on clockwork mod recovery. Follow the steps below :

• Choose Install Zip From Sd Card >> Choose Zip From SD Card option and then select the
  
  minisense_v3.zip file which you downloaded in step 3.
• Note : If you are using RZ Recovery, choose Install Menu >> Select
  
  minisense_v3.zip >> Select Wipe Data and Wipe Cache >> Choose Install minisense_v3.zip and wait till the zip is installed.

8. When you've flashed the rom, Wipe Data from recovery menu.

9. Reboot your device from your recovery main menu.

UPDATES!!!

• updatepackage_minisense_v3.zip  : A zip which contains a2sd scripts and modded lgcamera application. Flash this in clockwork mod recovery without data wipe. Note : Don't install this zip, if you don't want any a2sd script on your device.

You've successfully installed Minisense v3 android rom on your galaxy mini or pop s5570 handset. However, it's far away from HTC look and feel at the moment. So, we'll need to configure it get Sense UI and HTC theme. For this run Theme Chooser app from App Drawer and select Alpha7 theme and apply it. Now, run agile lock full and as it says first of all select LP Sense UI as your default Home App (Launcher App). When, you are done, run Agile lock full application again and press the Startbutton to set it as your default lock screen. You can use the settings button to configure the lock screen according to your preferences. Also, don't forget to restart your launcher, if the icons are not changed from the system defaults.
